What better time than a heat wave to post my risograph mini-comic, Death of Cold. The story is a western set in Northern Arizona where I live. People associate Arizona with heat, but here in Flagstaff, we get a lot of snow. I wrote and drew the comic over Christmas vacation in 2022 between snowy walks around the neighborhood and cozy evenings spent watching westerns. I love creating artwork for risograph printing. The color and size limitations create constraints that can be challenging but also fun. The book was printed by Risolve in Pennsylvania and I’m really proud of the final product.
